Sometimes there are USB power jumpers on the mobo that need to be switched in order to get Vista sleep to work right - check your mobo manual for something like "USB +5VSB jumper". Oct 18, 2011 · In Vista and 7, next to the 'power' button, there's a sideways-pointing arrow that brings up various power options like "Sleep" and "Hibernate" etc. I'd really like to remove these options from the menu just so my client can't use either one even if she really wanted too. Apr 04, 2008 · I have a TrendNet TK-207. When my computer comes out of sleep mode, neither my mouse nor my keyboard will work. My printer won't event work (network printing) and it isn't event connected to the KVM. When I restart my computer my printer starts printing what was in the queue and the mouse and Since installing OneCare 2.0, the machine refuses to go to sleep mode, no matter if I simply close the display or command the modes through the Start Menu or by using the power button. The only other software that has been installed recently was Adobe Phtoshop CS3. I doubt that it would be doing something that would prevent sleep mode.

Hi Guys I'm using a software that deploy patches to vista and XP machines once a week and the bigest issue I have now is that the patches get deploy at 3 AM on Saturday and most of the desktop machines are on sleep or hybernate mode at that time so the patch fail to install.
